Ordering

I accept PayPal and the following payment methods via Shopify Payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay

You can only apply one code to an order and discounts don't stack, this is mostly relevant to the multibuy offer for 15% off when buying 5+ items. In this circumstance it is best to not add any discount code to make sure you get the best price. Unfortunately this is a small limitation of Shopify as it doesn't automatically pick the best option for you like Etsy does.

The free shipping offers are calculated automatically however and included on top of all sale and discount codes.

Most prints are available up to A3 in size (approx 12 x 16 inches). Newer designs are now available up to size A2!

If you would like your order sent directly to the gift recipient, just add their details at checkout.

However, as many items are printed and sent via my printing partner, I am not able to add a specific gift note to the package.

Please note - it is a legal requirement to include an invoice for international orders. This means that the gift recipient will see how much the gift cost and may be subject to customs charges.

Yes, if you'd like to stock Print is Dead products please drop me an e-mail at hello@printisdead.co.uk and I will be happy to discuss wholesale options with you.

Absolutely! If you're not happy with your order, changed your mind or have an issue e-mail me at hello@printisdead.co.uk to discuss. You can read the full refunds and returns information here.

Shipping

Many items in my shop are now made and sent to order via my printing partner, this means the time for dispatch will vary. It's best to check each product but the average is around 72 hours before dispatch.

If you order multiple different things they may arrive in multiple packages.

Standard UK orders are sent via Royal Mail or Evri depending on the product.

International Orders are shipped with tracking provided. The carrier varies depending on the product.

Yes, I post worldwide and you should be able to select your country and shipping at checkout.

If you have any issues at all with the international shipping process, drop me an e-mail at hello@printisdead.co.uk to discuss.

Orders to the UK typically take 2-3 working days to arrive AFTER dispatch.

International delivery times vary but typically arrive within 4 weeks.

Please remember that shipping times will vary, both within the UK and from country to country. At certain times of the year this can be slower (e.g. at Christmas) Delays also occur due to the customs clearance process - please allow extra time for your order.

Orders to the UK will not be classed as lost/delayed until 10 working days (2 weeks).

International orders will not be classed as lost/delayed until 32 working days (around 6 weeks).

If you need something for a guaranteed date please get in touch first at hello@printisdead.co.uk to discuss options.

The standard UK shipping option varies but a majority of orders are sent tracked. Very small orders (e.g. 1 postcard) will not include tracking.

All international orders are sent tracked and you will recieve a tracking number after dispatch.

Unfortunately this is just the cost of shipping - it's expensive and continues to rise every year.

Some companies will choose to increase prices of their items to cover the costs, but I prefer a more transparent shipping cost so you're not spending more when buying multiple items.

Most orders make it without a hitch but occasionally a package gets lost, delayed or damaged along the way. In any of these circumstances please get in touch via hello@printisdead.co.uk to discuss options.

If your order is damaged please make sure you take photos of the damaged package and contents as I am unable to process claims and refunds without this.

About Print is Dead

Everything on Print is Dead is my own work. As part of the design process, I may use stock imagery, textures, fonts etc. and I purchase licenses when I use these aspects.

Everything at Print is Dead is my own original work, but I work with printers to bring them to life. Many items are drop shipped directly from my print supplier.

The name is based on the seemingly contradictory phrase 'The King is Dead! Long live the King!', so it's about the continuation of print, in a time when printed media is becoming less commonplace and about celebrating traditional printing methods. And of course, I'm selling prints inspired by the macabre so it's a little double entendre too.

I started Print is Dead during my MA in Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University in October 2017, but I've been working commercially as a Graphic Designer and illustrator for over 10 years after originally graduating with a BA in Graphic Design from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth.

Absolutely - if you're after a different size, colour or want something created completely from scratch I am open to custom orders and will see if I can accommodate. E-mail me at hello@printisdead.co.uk and we can take it from there. You can also find more information on commission work here.

I love tattoos and I am more than happy to see my work on skin. It would be really appreciated if you do want to get a tattoo of my work, that you buy something to support my art or purchase my 'Tattoo Donation' on the online store - this is simply a small donation towards my business and I will send you a digital file of the design you're looking to get tattooed to make it easier for you and your tattoo artist.

Please also let the tattoo artist know who to attribute the design to if they share on social media - I can be found on instagram @_printisdead_ - feel free to tag me in as I love seeing the end results!

I have designed a couple of tattoos and I'm more than happy to discuss in line with my usual commissions approach - I love tattoos!

That said, I am not a tattoo artist and have no experience of the tattoo process other than getting my own ink. This means that certain aspects of my design may not be suitable for tattooing so I would always recommended discussing with your tattoo artist, they really are the best suited to this kind of work!

I don't have a set window for releases, they occur at various times of year. Feel free to follow me on socials to get a sneak peak at upcoming releases!

Yes absolutely, if you've got something in mind just drop me an e-mail at hello@printisdead.co.uk to discuss!
